Hello everyone! How has everybody been? I hope you are all well. It has been awhile since I posted, (YIKES) before you go picking up your pitchforks and torches. I have a good reason. I just completed my first semester of college! This past week I took 3 finals (passed them all btw) and I thought to myself girl you have got to start writing again. I’ve missed it so much!
Exciting news, I do not start school again till January 8th. ( Thank the lord) I really didn’t think people were serious about how much work college was. I want to revamp my page, I want to know some new topics/things you guys want to read about. I was thinking of starting a new series where I go around and try new beauty services. For example I’ve been interested in the new slushy pedicure! Like whaaat?!?! How amazing does that sound?
More updates… hmmm… I have been super obsessed over the new Amazon show the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel! (Look how cute the shows filter on snapchat was haha) It is an amazing show, very funny, and I love the vintage aspect of it. I’ve been getting my nails done every three weeks so I also want to add a post on the that once a month.
I will be posting a favorites post as well as a couple of reviews from things I have either bought or have been sent. Well, thats it for now.

Question: What is everyone asking for Christmas? Or the holidays?
Hello everyone… I hope all is well of course. You all are probably wondering where in the world I’ve been! Well, I have decided to go back to college. This whole summer has been dedicated to getting ready for that, and just having fun. I don’t like the fact that my blog took a back seat for awhile, but unfortunately it has.
Enough with the updates, I have an exciting experience to share with everyone! A little back story, at the beginning of middle school I started getting migraines. (They are a family trait I wish I never got) One day my mom took me to The Body Shop and we bought a cooling face mask just to try…. It worked wonders! Fast forward twelve years (Yes twelve!), my beloved mask has started to lose its magic. A lot of the blue gel inside has dissipated.
Well, one night I was browsing The Body Shop website and what did I find?!? The same mask in PINK! (My favorite color btw) I could have cried, twelve years later and I find a new one? Crazy! But wait its only $4.80? With FREE SHIPPING? This must be a joke… NOPE!
This mask is a life saver, it helps with a number of things:
-Hot days to cool off
It stays pretty cool on its own but you can place it in the freezer for a bit to get cold. It has a strap with velcro. I’m just in love with this mask honestly, there are so many good things I could say about it. I mean you have to love something to buy it twice.

Question of the day- Do you like the body shop? Do you have a favorite product you live by?
Hey everyone, I hope you guys are doing well! So, like the title says I’ve been skin care obsessed… well face mask obsessed. A little back story (which I have explained before) I’ve suffered from serious acne for a long time and my skin has FINALLY (at 23) started to give me a break!
Today, Im going to share my favorite DIY face mask and a little review on the E.L.F. Pore refining brush and mask tool!
I’m a detox freak! Anything with clay I’m hooked so, when I saw one of my favorite youtubers use the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay I freaked out! I knew I had to try it. So, I used one tbs of the clay powder and 2 tbs of distilled water. And the skin game was changed forever! It helps with raw break outs as well as helping keep away new skin impurities.
P.S. Please make sure you have distilled water! I use filtered warm water. Trust me you do not need more junk on your skin.
Now, onto the new E.L.F. brush- I’m a use your hands for everything type of girl. Thats not always good because your hands have a lot of bacteria on them. The top of the brush is a tool to apply a mask. It’s taking a little bit to get used to applying small amounts slowly with the tool and not my fingers. I do enjoy the fact that it’s more cleanly for my face. Also, the bottom is a pore refining brush and I love it! It really does get into my pores and cleans out all the gunk. And hey for $5 bucks I think it’s totally worth it!

Question of the day- What is your favorite DIY face masks?
Welcome to the real side of beauty! Here you will find my personal opinions on today’s latest beauty trends and must haves. I will be comparing makeup and beauty products to see what’s worth it and what’s not so worth it. Because we have all been there, you see your favorite beauty icon using a $40 lipstick that couldn’t be more of a disappointment then your last relationship. (Ok maybe that’s a bit harsh, but come on I want my $40 dollars back!)
And who may I be you ask? Well, hi I’m Victoria; I live in a small town in Maryland that provides a pretty unglamorous life. But don’t you worry I’m like the Sarah Jessica Parker of my small town USA. I am a cosmetologist by trade and a diva by birth. (Does anyone say “diva” anymore, lets hope)
I guess you can say I’m your typical girly girl. I love makeup, getting dressed up, and shopping of course. Then there’s my more wholesome side that likes knitting, crafting, hanging out with my girls and READING! Ugh I can’t get enough of those terrible romantic novels. (Oh yeah and classics)
One day I wish to work for a major makeup company, who knows maybe my own! (I mean a girl can dream can’t she?) But for the time being I slave my days a way doing hair and makeup! I couldn’t ask for a better life or a better bunch to share it with.
So, now I’ve decided to write this blog to help people get the real side of beauty. I hope you enjoy this journey with me!
