Hello everyone! I hope all is well in your lives at the moment. I’ve had an amazing summer so far, lots of fun in sun. (So cheesy, I know.)
So, lately I have been shopping pretty much every weekend (not going to lie). I’ve bought all kinds of things from beauty to jewelry to clothes to you name it.
I’ve recently started a wish list to pick items directly off of that I know I have been really wanting. (Basically my form of budgeting)
Let’s start with Beauty:
The Morphe 350 Natural Glow Palette (CULT CLASSIC)
Wet n Wild Highlighter in Blossom Glow
Wet n Wild Foundation Brush
Air Spun Powder in Translucent
Biore Micellar Water
Biore Facial Cleanser
Nars Liquid Lip in Don’t Stop
Revlon Concealer Brush
And finally just a couple of face masks (because I have a problem)
I have an unhealthy relationship with gold jewelry! Below is a picture of some of my favorite pieces I gave recently bought.
Simply Southern Salty But Sweet Clutch
I know this seems like a lot, but as I said this has been over the past couple of weeks.

Question of the day: What do you prefer gold or silver?
Hello everyone! I hope all is well and your summer is amazing so far. This past week I attended ( and worked) a very close friend of mines wedding! Which was super exciting and such a beautiful event.
As I was doing the bridesmaids makeup they told me about blemishes and under eye circles they wished to cover which got me thinking! I know how to do that so why not share my knowledge.
I’ve written about this before but I used to suffer from terrible acne. Which has left ever worse scaring! (Super dramatic) With that being said I’ve somewhat mastered the art of coverup.
First things first START WITH A GOOD BASE!
-Moisturize as well as prime: Evian facial spray, Benefit Porefessional
-If you are feeling a slightly more dry use Farsali Unicorn Essence
Next up- COLOR CORRECTION
-Using a green concealer (Less is more and do not forget tot blend):L.A. Girl Pro. Conceal
-Dark under eyes need a yellow based concealer
-Pro tip I would not cake the makeup up. (Small layers work best) it will worsen the appearance of bumps and skin texture
On to- CONCEARLER
-Use skin tone concealer on your face but a lighter shade under the eyes: Benefit Boing Concealer, Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
-Again with your beauty blending sponge blend on your foundation!
Some final tips:
-Bake your concealer under your eyes.
-Use matte blushes and bronzers

Question of the day: What is your favorite concealer?
Thank you so much for reading!
Hello everyone! Can we talk about how school is finally done and summer has begun! I am so excited to be back. But I am even more excited to start a new series on my blog….. The Vs.
There are way too many products on the market that do (supposedly) the same thing. Well, here on my Vs. I will be trying two or more products that have the same claims!
This weeks contenders:
Tony Moly- Tako Pore One Shot Nose Pack ($3.50)
Biore- Deep Cleansing Pore Strips ($7.99)
Lets talk about pros for the Tony Moly:
Covers a lot larger area
Pulls out many black heads
Leaves no residue
1 to a pack
Pulls out a lot of black heads
Is black so you can see the results better
More comes in a pack
Covers a smaller area
Leaves black residue on the skin
They both claim the same thing, to rid you of clogged pores. Both strips are applied the same way and take the same amount of time to dry. I would say they take out the same amount of pore gunk but since the tony moly one is so much larger you get a larger area cleaned.
I have used biore strips for ever and a day (no lie), but for me after just one use I have to declare the Tony Moly Tako Pore One Shot Nose Pack as the winner!

Question of the day: Have you tried either of the products mentioned above? What did you think?
Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and excited for easter. This weekend is very packed for us and I want to be spring fresh. ( Or as close to it) So, I decided to dig through my hoard of face masks and landed on the Soap and Glory De-clog Mask.
I know soap and glory are known for their packaging but come on how cute is this! Oh and just wait…. it’s PINK. Yes, bubble gum pink. ( I lost it) Now that I’m praying I love it as much as I do the looks of it.
First off the smell is a bit strong but pleasant. I just rather have non-scented skin care products because my skin is sensitive to fragrances. The application was smooth and fairly easy. ( Did I mention it comes with a baby spoon!)
The directions say to wait 20-25 minutes. It dries much quicker and comes off nicely. One disclaimer I want to add is that it does pull your hair. For me that was not a deal breaker but just be careful!
The after magic? My face was super smooth and clean-looking. I could definitely tell a difference in my pores. I’d give the de-clog a 8 out 10. For $6.00 you get two applications in seperate pots. I will be forsure repurchasing more of the soap and glory masks.

Question of the day: Favorite soap and glory product?
Hello everyone! I hope all is well and everyone is having a great beginning of the year. I have been knee-deep in college classes. But I am doing good (I think). All is going well!
Today, I’m writing a little review on charcoal tooth polish. A few weeks ago I bought a pot of Olivia Care charcoal. I was so excited ( I’ve really wanted to try this).
There are a few positive and negative points:
Positive – Great price, tastes like mint, and really does whiten your teeth after one use!
Negative – Is really MESSY!
The only comment I have to add is that this is not comparable to going to get your teeth professionally whitened. But that being said it’s much more healthy that chemicals.
I hope everyone has an amazing week.
Question of the day: Do you whiten your teeth? If so, let me know how?

Hello everyone, I hope all is well! Today’s post is about what I keep in my bag. Let me just give you a heads up now, my bag is not very exciting. I really thought I was much more interesting than I am.
The bag I use is a leather Coach bag I bought in 2012 when I had my first job. I’m not a huge fan of Coach but this bag is very plan and goes with everything.
If you dig in you will find:
My wallet (Alex and Ani)
My beauty bag(Fossil) – I keep pads, tic tacs, toilet bowl covers, tide to-go pen and lotion
My key holder( Ted Baker) – I just keep my house key and an old picture keychain
Hand sanitizer and a holder- both from Bath and Body Works
Vintage Hankercheift- from the thrift store
See? Nothing to exciting. I try to keep my bag as clean as I can because it can get out of hand quickly!

Question of the day, What do you keep in your bag?
Could there be such a thing? Hello everyone I hope you are all doing well. In today’s post I’m going to give you the secret to the perfect Red lip! FOR ANYONE (Scouts Honor)
Recently I bought the Chanel Rouge COCO Lipstick in no other than the shade Gabrielle. As well as the lip liner in Rouge Profond. This has made all the difference! (Seriously)
A little review:
Lipstick– Its super creamy, the color is so strong as well as long-lasting!
LipLiner– Easy to use, stays put and comes with a NICE lip brush on the end of the pencil. It ever came with a pencil sharpener. (WHAT!)
So, on to the perfect Red lip how-to:
Start with a good base! I use a sugar lip scrub (from lush of course) as well as a super moisturizing lip balm. I let that sit for a little bit.
Then, I continue to apply the lip liner right outside the line of my lips for a pouty look. Make sure you fill in the lips as well so the lipstick stays put.
Final touch, applying the lipstick!
And that’s it! Your all done. (You can thank me later!)
