Review: Laura Geller Gilded Glow Baked Body Frosting

Review: Laura Geller Gilded Glow Baked Body Frosting

Hello everyone, I hope you all are well. Recently we had lunch with my Grandmother and she very sweetly gave us (my sister and I) Christmas money and I could not help myself! I’ll add everything else I bought in my Christmas Haul.

But I’ve been drooling over the Holiday body set from Laura Geller. It was orginally $45.00 but is now on sale for $25.00 at Ulta. The set comes with an adorable wand with a white poof at the top. As well as the Gilded Glow Baked Body Frosting. Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

You can use it in multiple ways, which is amazing. You can use it as a body highlighter and bronzer as well as a face highlighter. I love the beautiful shine and sparkle it adds to the skin. Especially for the upcoming Christmas parties I will be attending. To say that I am in love with this product is an understatement.

The product itself is very buildable and does not cake up. It reminds me of the early 2000’s, those large brushes with the glitter inside of it (much less tacky.) It doesn’t have a real smell, this is a good thing considering you have to use it on such a large part of your body compared to something on your face.

It has a TON of product and will last well into the summer!

Prom Makeup

As promised, here is my prom makeup look! This look can be completely customized to better match your dress/style.

Eyes:
First, I used Mac’s paint pot in Painterly all over my eyes.
I continued with Mac’s eyeshadow in Cork in my crease.
I cut my crease with Nyx jumbo eye pencil in Milk.
Next I put Mac’s loose pigment in Melon all over my lid.
Followed up by a wing eyeliner look with Lorac Front Of The Line Pro liner.
I then, finished with two coats of Essence Lash Princessprom look 2

Face:
Starting off with Benefit’s the Pore fessional all over my face as a primer.
Then, going in with my Mac’s Pro Longwear Foundation all over my face.
I added a drop or two of Josie Maran Argan Oil in my Anastasia Contour Creme Kit (Light).
I used Banana under my eyes and Java on the top of my forehead and under my cheek bones.
I also, used Boing Concealer in Light on my spots.
I baked (under my eyes) with E.LF.’s Sheer Powder.
Using a light dusting of Mac’s Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation all over my face.
I used Tarte blush in Pampered on my cheeks.
Then, using Too Faced Bronzer in Chocolate Soleil I contoured under my cheek bones and around my face.
To highlight I used Becca Highlighter in Champagne Pop. (Of course)

Eyebrows:
I start to fill in my eyebrows with E.L.F.’s Eyebrow kit.
I carve out my brows with my Boing concealer.
Then, I highlight my brow bones with Mac’s loose pigment Vanillaprom look 3

Lips:
I lined my lips with a beauty for real lip liner.
For lipstick I used Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in Forever.

I’m sorry for the awkward photos! I’m the worst when it comes to taking photos of my makeup. Oh, I do have a strapless shirt on but it doesn’t look like it! I hope everyone likes this look.. I will be posting a prom hair style on Thursday. So, look out for that, and hey do you have any questions or opinions? Comment below we will chat!
