Tony Moly Vs. Biore: Pore Strip Showdown!

Tony Moly Vs. Biore: Pore Strip Showdown!

Hello everyone! Can we talk about how school is finally done and summer has begun! I am so excited to be back. But I am even more excited to start a new series on my blog….. The Vs.

There are way too many products on the market that do (supposedly) the same thing. Well, here on my Vs. I will be trying two or more products that have the same claims!

This weeks contenders:

Tony Moly- Tako Pore One Shot Nose Pack ($3.50)
Vs.
Biore- Deep Cleansing Pore Strips ($7.99)

Processed with VSCO with f1 presetLets talk about pros for the Tony Moly:
Covers a lot larger area
Pulls out many black heads
No Pain
Leaves no residue

Cons:
1 to a pack
More expensive

Processed with VSCO with f1 presetBiore Pros:
Pulls out a lot of black heads
Is black so you can see the results better
More comes in a pack
Cheaper

Cons:
Covers a smaller area
Leaves black residue on the skin

They both claim the same thing, to rid you of clogged pores. Both strips are applied the same way and take the same amount of time to dry. I would say they take out the same amount of pore gunk but since the tony moly one is so much larger you get a larger area cleaned.

I have used biore strips for ever and a day (no lie), but for me after just one use I have to declare the Tony Moly Tako Pore One Shot Nose Pack as the winner!

If you enjoy these kinds of posts let me know in the comments as well as any questions or concerns….. Let’s chat!

Question of the day: Have you tried either of the products mentioned above? What did you think?

Smokey Copper Eye Makeup Tutorial

Smokey Copper Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone… I hope all is well! Today’s post is a makeup tutorial on this smokey copper look. Which is a beautiful look for summer! (Well, I think so.)

Honestly, my face makeup is the same as any other makeup posts I have (shameless plug.) If you would like to see how it’s done, click the link!IMG_3312

Starting out, I used Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer all over both lids.

Then, I take my Lorac Pro Palette and apply the shade “Porcelain” all over my lids as well.

Continuing with my crease, I place “Twany” and “Burlap” to smoke it out, and to deepen the look I use “Goji.” (Yes, all three in my crease!)

Switching over to my Too Faced Vegas Nay Star Dust palette (No Longer Available), I use “Double Tap” on the lids. To add a little sparkle, I dust on some “Showgirl” to the middle of my lids.

The last step is to blend out some “Porcelain” on my brow bone to highlight the area!

DON’T FORGET TO BLEND EVERY STEP!

(Bam! Eyeshadow done!)

Finally, I use Lorac’s Black Liquid Eyeliner and wing it out. I did use a thicker line on my lids.

I apply a couple of coats of Essence Lash Princess and TA-DA!IMG_3313

I hope everyone enjoyed this quick and easy eye look. Please don’t forget to comment any  concerns or questions… Lets chat!
