Hello everyone! I hope all is well in your lives at the moment. I’ve had an amazing summer so far, lots of fun in sun. (So cheesy, I know.)
So, lately I have been shopping pretty much every weekend (not going to lie). I’ve bought all kinds of things from beauty to jewelry to clothes to you name it.
I’ve recently started a wish list to pick items directly off of that I know I have been really wanting. (Basically my form of budgeting)
Let’s start with Beauty:
The Morphe 350 Natural Glow Palette (CULT CLASSIC)
Wet n Wild Highlighter in Blossom Glow
Wet n Wild Foundation Brush
Air Spun Powder in Translucent
Biore Micellar Water
Biore Facial Cleanser
Nars Liquid Lip in Don’t Stop
Revlon Concealer Brush
And finally just a couple of face masks (because I have a problem)
I have an unhealthy relationship with gold jewelry! Below is a picture of some of my favorite pieces I gave recently bought.
Simply Southern Salty But Sweet Clutch
I know this seems like a lot, but as I said this has been over the past couple of weeks.

Question of the day: What do you prefer gold or silver?
Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and excited for easter. This weekend is very packed for us and I want to be spring fresh. ( Or as close to it) So, I decided to dig through my hoard of face masks and landed on the Soap and Glory De-clog Mask.
I know soap and glory are known for their packaging but come on how cute is this! Oh and just wait…. it’s PINK. Yes, bubble gum pink. ( I lost it) Now that I’m praying I love it as much as I do the looks of it.
First off the smell is a bit strong but pleasant. I just rather have non-scented skin care products because my skin is sensitive to fragrances. The application was smooth and fairly easy. ( Did I mention it comes with a baby spoon!)
The directions say to wait 20-25 minutes. It dries much quicker and comes off nicely. One disclaimer I want to add is that it does pull your hair. For me that was not a deal breaker but just be careful!
The after magic? My face was super smooth and clean-looking. I could definitely tell a difference in my pores. I’d give the de-clog a 8 out 10. For $6.00 you get two applications in seperate pots. I will be forsure repurchasing more of the soap and glory masks.

Question of the day: Favorite soap and glory product?
Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. February has come and almost gone (crazy I know). This month I have tried to use/test more products as well as try to wear more of a variety of different clothes, shoes and accessories.
Failing somewhat (I’m a college student what can I say?) I have found a few products that were absolute favorites. Also for good measure I will be adding my most worn wardrobe pieces.
Starting off with my only two favorite beauty products of the month:
–Commodity Gold Perfum $26.00, the scent is such a deep sweet smell. (Absolutely
delicious) –Clarins Lip Oil in Candy $26.00, sweet light weight oil with a tint of pink.
Next up is my accessories:
–Alex and Ani Evil Eye Pull Chain Bracelet $78.00
–Scrunchie, yes! I am in love with these all over again!
-Fur Cover Purse
– Adidas Superstars $80.00
As promised it was only a few items that I have been loving. I hope you all enjoyed this post.

Question of the day: Do you like scruchies?

Hello everyone… I hope all is well of course. You all are probably wondering where in the world I’ve been! Well, I have decided to go back to college. This whole summer has been dedicated to getting ready for that, and just having fun. I don’t like the fact that my blog took a back seat for awhile, but unfortunately it has.
Enough with the updates, I have an exciting experience to share with everyone! A little back story, at the beginning of middle school I started getting migraines. (They are a family trait I wish I never got) One day my mom took me to The Body Shop and we bought a cooling face mask just to try…. It worked wonders! Fast forward twelve years (Yes twelve!), my beloved mask has started to lose its magic. A lot of the blue gel inside has dissipated.
Well, one night I was browsing The Body Shop website and what did I find?!? The same mask in PINK! (My favorite color btw) I could have cried, twelve years later and I find a new one? Crazy! But wait its only $4.80? With FREE SHIPPING? This must be a joke… NOPE!
This mask is a life saver, it helps with a number of things:
-Hot days to cool off
It stays pretty cool on its own but you can place it in the freezer for a bit to get cold. It has a strap with velcro. I’m just in love with this mask honestly, there are so many good things I could say about it. I mean you have to love something to buy it twice.

Question of the day- Do you like the body shop? Do you have a favorite product you live by?
Hey everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. I’m enjoying that spring/summer is here, even though fall is my favorite season. That being said every year (it never fails) I always get sick around this time. Shout out to allergies!
Moving on to what this blog is really about: wet n wild makeup brushes! Now, I have a mixture of different brands of brushes ranging from high end to affordable. Awhile back I saw that wet n wild had introduced a new line of two toned brushes and they were PINK (my favorite color.) I knew I had to give them ago. To my surprise I went to my local dollar tree and they were there! Most of the brushes from this collection that I own I have picked up at the dollar tree.
Below is the list of brushes I own from the collection-
– 2 Angled Liner Brushes (Eyebrows)
– Smokey Liner Brush
-Large Eye Shadow Brush
-Small Eye Shadow Brush
-Two Crease Brushes (Blender)
-Large Concealer Brushes
-Flat Top Brush (Foundation)
-Contour Brush (Bronzer)
-Fan Brush (Highlight)
I really like most of these brushes, the concealer and the foundation brushes I don’t use pretty much ever. Not because of the quality but because I use makeup sponges instead of brushes. The quality for all the brushes are great! I have not had any loose fibers or shape issues. The brushes clean very well, but some have stained which is annoying (I’m a complete freak about this). I highly recommend these brushes!

Question of the day: Favorite makeup brush brand and brush that they make?
Hey everyone! I hope you all have been super well. I’m coming to you with a first look on the new Tarte Make Believe in Yourself.
The color selection is beautiful, there is a good mix between neutral and “fashion” colors. There are ten shades of eye shadows around the palette and one cheek shade in the center. The pigment pay off is really good. Nine of the shadows are shimmery and one is matte (Myth). The cheek shade is definitely a highlight shade.
Starting with the matte Myth and working clockwise:
This is the time I’m going to throw in that the palette also smells amazing! Just like cocoa!
The packaging is well-made. There is a large mirror and a beautiful piece of art on the front.
My next post will involve a makeup look from this palette as well as a much more in-depth review on how the colors actually perform. If you have any other comments or concerns don’t be shy, just leave them in the comments below! Lets chat.
Question of the day- What are your thoughts on Tarte eyeshadows?
Ok ladies and gents in my daily offline life I struggle with acne of some sorts. Whether its the monthly “fun time” breakout or the evil black heads buying property on my t-zone. Neither are fun and more importantly sometimes it hurts! Since about 15 I have tried hundreds (yes hundreds) of treatments, washes, DIY’s, home remedies, lotions, etc. you name it I’ve probably tried it. Some have worked and others have not.
Today I’m here to talk about over night pimple cures! Could it really be that simple? Well we have two products the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion which for most is a cult classic and Nexcare Acne Absorbing Covers! Both claim to about the same thing applied two different ways. I have two under the skin buddies that need to be gone asap. On my chin, I will be using the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion because of the uneven area it’s in. The other on my cheek which is where I will be using one of the Nexcare Acne Absorbing Covers because that area is flat. In the morning I will check each one to see if they both really do what the claim. ZZZZzzzzz (“8 hours” later… more like 5)
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion: Claims to draw out impurities from the skin. Costs $17.00 for 1fl oz. Strong smell, drys pink, the bottle must stay upright and unshaken but can be put anywhere on the face even in tight spaces.
Nexcare Acne Absorbing Covers: Claims to work like a sponge to absorb pus and oil. Costs $8.00 for 36 covers. It has no smell, can be worn during the day under foundation, clear, comes in two sizes (large and small) but must be put on flat parts of the face.
When I woke up the next day I was pleasantly surprised and sorta disappointed at the same time. Ive been using the cult classic (drying lotion) for a while now and it did not hold a candle to the acne covers! The drying lotion had drawn out the impurities but its now a white head. I got over to my cheek and the spot where I put the absorbing acne cover has pretty much cleared up, it was smooth to the touch as well! Plus as a side note the skin around where I had put the drying lotion was completely dried out. The covers however did not dry my skin.
So, in the end I say the Nexcare Acne Absorbing Cover was the true winner. Let me know in the comments below what you guys think! Have any of you tried these?
