Hello everyone.. I hope all is well. I cannot believe summer is flying by! ( I’m not ok with this.)
Today, I was inspired to do a beautiful light purple makeup look. I wanted something bright and shiny, with tons of shimmer!
Starting out with my face makeup:
– Benefits Porefessional Face Primer
– Hard Candy Sheer Envy Color Correct Cushion Wonder ( I don’t know how I feel about this product yet!)
– MAC Cosmetics Foundation mixed with Estee Launder Double Wear Foundation
–MAC Cosmetics Concealer (On my acne and scars)
–Anastasia Contour Kit (Under eyes with light and around my face with the dark)
–Elf High Definition Powder (For baking under my eyes)
–MAC Cosmetics Foundation Powder
–Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer
–Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush
–Tarte Pro Glow Palette (For my highlighter)
–MAC Cosmetics Eye Liner (Coffee)
–Elf Eyebrow Kit
–Anastasia Concealer (Carve out my eyebrows)
–Anastasia Brow Gel
Now to the main event… My eye makeup:
-Starting out I used the Too Face White Chocolate Chip palette, taking shade Cake Batter all over my lid.
-Taking Mac’s shade Cork in my crease.
-Continuing in my crease I used Mac’s Black Berry. (Remember to blend, blend, and blend.)
-Back to the Too Face palette I used Sugared Raisin all over the lid.
-Using Satellite Dreams from Mac in the outer corner, I blend it towards the middle of my lid.
– Switching over to the Tarte Make Believe in Yourself palette I take the highlight shade in the middle and place it on the middle of my lid and blend it out. As well as on my eyebrow and the inner corner of my eye.
-Taking Lorac Liquid Liner to make my wing.
-Finally I added a few coats of Essence Lash Princess after using an eyelash curler.
–Just a disclaimer I didn’t have a set look in mind when I started… So, you do not need these exact shades!-
Well, everyone I hope you all enjoyed this written tutorial!

Hey everyone! I hope you all have been super well. I’m coming to you with a first look on the new Tarte Make Believe in Yourself.
The color selection is beautiful, there is a good mix between neutral and “fashion” colors. There are ten shades of eye shadows around the palette and one cheek shade in the center. The pigment pay off is really good. Nine of the shadows are shimmery and one is matte (Myth). The cheek shade is definitely a highlight shade.
Starting with the matte Myth and working clockwise:
This is the time I’m going to throw in that the palette also smells amazing! Just like cocoa!
The packaging is well-made. There is a large mirror and a beautiful piece of art on the front.
My next post will involve a makeup look from this palette as well as a much more in-depth review on how the colors actually perform. If you have any other comments or concerns don’t be shy, just leave them in the comments below! Lets chat.
Question of the day- What are your thoughts on Tarte eyeshadows?
Hey everyone! I hope everyone is doing well…. Believe it or not spring has sprung (if the weather would get the hint). So in honor of the seasons changing I figured I would share my top 8 spring nail polish picks!
- Essie’s Fiji (Pale pink) nine times out of ten I’m wearing this shade.
- Essie’s Sequin Sash (Shimmery pale gold/top coat) Part of their bring back collection.
- Butter London Candy Floss (Pale Blue)
- O.P.I. Kitty White (pearly white/top coat) Part of their Hello Kitty collection.
- Sinful Colors Kylie Matte Collection: (These are no longer available but I added the sinful colors link because they have pretty much the same colors in different collection!)
North Star (Shimmery violet)
Butter Kup (Shimmery pale yellow)
Kool As A Kukumber (Shimmery pale blue/green)
V.I.Peach (Shimmery Pale Coral)
A quick tutorial of how I do my nails-
First: Shape your nails and remove all polish/oils
Second: Apply a base coat
Third: Apply two coats of nail polish
Fourth: Apply a top coat
Finally: Apply a cuticle oil
I love all the pale colors as you probably could tell from above. If I had to pick the best applying nail polish would be Butter London or Essie. Let me know what your favorite nail polishes are for any season! If you have any requests or question, don’t forget to comment below! Lets chat.
Question of the day- If you could design a nail polish what would you name it? What color would you choose?

Have you ever been wrongly seduced by the beautiful perfume bottles of the world? So have I, don’t feel bad, I get to the counter and bam I’m hooked! The chic little bottle is filled with all your next memories… but wait $120 dollars? Okay okay Victoria calm down lets think about this… Is it worth it? Now that is the question!
Ive grown to have a fine taste in perfume. YSL, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Dior you name it most likely I love it! I recently was gifted Alien by Thierry Mugler. I had been lusting over this perfume for years! Ive been using Alien for awhile now and I have some thoughts.
One: The scent is beautiful
Two: It stays all day long, I mean I can smell it while I’m doing the laundry
Three: I get many compliments on it when I wear it
Four: There is nothing else like it
Five: Its refillable!
So, my verdict? 100% worth it! Now I know its a steep price for perfume ($80 for the smallest bottle) but lets face it its absolutely amazing. Here’s a tip from this girl to the rest to help save a little. Stick to one or two perfumes at a time. Theres no point to have a shelf full to go bad. That is money wasted! Nothing is better than having one signature scent people know you by.
