Hello everyone! I hope all is well and your summer is amazing so far. This past week I attended ( and worked) a very close friend of mines wedding! Which was super exciting and such a beautiful event.
As I was doing the bridesmaids makeup they told me about blemishes and under eye circles they wished to cover which got me thinking! I know how to do that so why not share my knowledge.
I’ve written about this before but I used to suffer from terrible acne. Which has left ever worse scaring! (Super dramatic) With that being said I’ve somewhat mastered the art of coverup.
First things first START WITH A GOOD BASE!
-Moisturize as well as prime: Evian facial spray, Benefit Porefessional
-If you are feeling a slightly more dry use Farsali Unicorn Essence
Next up- COLOR CORRECTION
-Using a green concealer (Less is more and do not forget tot blend):L.A. Girl Pro. Conceal
-Dark under eyes need a yellow based concealer
-Pro tip I would not cake the makeup up. (Small layers work best) it will worsen the appearance of bumps and skin texture
On to- CONCEARLER
-Use skin tone concealer on your face but a lighter shade under the eyes: Benefit Boing Concealer, Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
-Again with your beauty blending sponge blend on your foundation!
Some final tips:
-Bake your concealer under your eyes.
-Use matte blushes and bronzers

Question of the day: What is your favorite concealer?
Thank you so much for reading!
Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and excited for easter. This weekend is very packed for us and I want to be spring fresh. ( Or as close to it) So, I decided to dig through my hoard of face masks and landed on the Soap and Glory De-clog Mask.
I know soap and glory are known for their packaging but come on how cute is this! Oh and just wait…. it’s PINK. Yes, bubble gum pink. ( I lost it) Now that I’m praying I love it as much as I do the looks of it.
First off the smell is a bit strong but pleasant. I just rather have non-scented skin care products because my skin is sensitive to fragrances. The application was smooth and fairly easy. ( Did I mention it comes with a baby spoon!)
The directions say to wait 20-25 minutes. It dries much quicker and comes off nicely. One disclaimer I want to add is that it does pull your hair. For me that was not a deal breaker but just be careful!
The after magic? My face was super smooth and clean-looking. I could definitely tell a difference in my pores. I’d give the de-clog a 8 out 10. For $6.00 you get two applications in seperate pots. I will be forsure repurchasing more of the soap and glory masks.

Question of the day: Favorite soap and glory product?
Hello everyone! I hope all is well and everyone is having a great beginning of the year. I have been knee-deep in college classes. But I am doing good (I think). All is going well!
Today, I’m writing a little review on charcoal tooth polish. A few weeks ago I bought a pot of Olivia Care charcoal. I was so excited ( I’ve really wanted to try this).
There are a few positive and negative points:
Positive – Great price, tastes like mint, and really does whiten your teeth after one use!
Negative – Is really MESSY!
The only comment I have to add is that this is not comparable to going to get your teeth professionally whitened. But that being said it’s much more healthy that chemicals.
I hope everyone has an amazing week.
Question of the day: Do you whiten your teeth? If so, let me know how?

Hello everyone, I hope you all are well. Recently we had lunch with my Grandmother and she very sweetly gave us (my sister and I) Christmas money and I could not help myself! I’ll add everything else I bought in my Christmas Haul.
But I’ve been drooling over the Holiday body set from Laura Geller. It was orginally $45.00 but is now on sale for $25.00 at Ulta. The set comes with an adorable wand with a white poof at the top. As well as the Gilded Glow Baked Body Frosting.
You can use it in multiple ways, which is amazing. You can use it as a body highlighter and bronzer as well as a face highlighter. I love the beautiful shine and sparkle it adds to the skin. Especially for the upcoming Christmas parties I will be attending. To say that I am in love with this product is an understatement.
The product itself is very buildable and does not cake up. It reminds me of the early 2000’s, those large brushes with the glitter inside of it (much less tacky.) It doesn’t have a real smell, this is a good thing considering you have to use it on such a large part of your body compared to something on your face.
It has a TON of product and will last well into the summer!

Question of the day: What is a good fake tan product?
Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. As Christmas inches closer (Take a minute to lose it because I am) I’ve been really going to work making sure my skin looks somewhat decent. If your family is anything like mine (mainly my dear mother ft. in this blog) then you’ll be in roughly a good 1000 photos.
So, I decided to pick out a face mask from my arsenal, just a little something to “relax”. Today’s choice was by a company called The Original Korean Face Mask, The Pearl Sculpting Mask. This promised to brighten and give my skin an instant renewal! I bought it at Boscovs on a whim for a whopping $2.00.
It comes in a powder form inside a plastic cup with a little spatula. You put water up to the line, mix then apply wait the standard 15 to 20 minutes and rinse…… (I’m sitting here typing this, laughing) My guess is that I mixed it for too long? Because it started to harden in the container! I run to the mirror and begin to slap it on my face. Honestly everyone in my house thinks I’ve lost it, this just adds to the proof.
Ah… now I had a chunky unspreadable goop on my face. The mask finally dries and after rinsing it off there was not much of a difference. My skin felt soft and it was good fun but I’m not going to repurchase another one.
If you do purchase this face mask just be aware that you need to apply it fast and there is a strong perfume smell.

Question of the day? Is it appropriate to re-gift something?
Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. I’m back already like I promised!
Recently I was sent a Pro Beauty Box from Influenster featuring six styling products for the holidays! (How cool is that?) I am familiar with a few of the brands from working with hair but some were new. (Honestly I’m so excited)
First Item: Pureology Colour Fanatic Hair Treatment Spray – 4/5
-Leaves my hair silky before I blow dry it
-Less frizz after styling it
Second Item: Amika Haute Mess Texture Gel – 3/5
– Smells strong
– Did not leave the hair sticky or stiff
– I didn’t really notice a huge difference in my hair after using this
– Was easy to style afterwards
Third Item: Matrix Biology R.A.W. Texturizing Styling Spray – 2/5
– Not a fan of the smell
– Natural ingredients
– I do not think I will use this anymore, I saw no difference or texture
Fourth Item: Sexy Hair Volumizing Spray Mousse – 5/5
– Smells like a hair typical product
– Gives you so much volume
– Easy to use
– Doesn’t leave you hair stiff or crunchy
Fifth Item: IGK Down & Out Dirty Spray – 4/5 (I love this stuff!)
– Smells like the beach
– Makes your hair easy to style, even if you had just washed it.
– It gives you texture and a really “lived in” look
Final Item: Redken Control Addict 28 Extra High-Hold Hairspray – 4/5
– Smells like hairspray (haha)
– Strong hold
– But doesn’t leave a crispy look
I’m very picky when it comes to hair styling products because I work with so many. But I am so grateful to be able to work with Influenster and try out brands I would not have picked up before. Over all a few were amazing like the Sexy hair, IGK and the Redkin hairspray. I will be picking up the full sizes when my samples run out!
Just a little disclaimer, I was not paid for my opinions and they are my own. Influenster sent me these items to test out.

Question of the day: What are some of your guys favorite hair products?
Hello everyone… I hope all is well of course. You all are probably wondering where in the world I’ve been! Well, I have decided to go back to college. This whole summer has been dedicated to getting ready for that, and just having fun. I don’t like the fact that my blog took a back seat for awhile, but unfortunately it has.
Enough with the updates, I have an exciting experience to share with everyone! A little back story, at the beginning of middle school I started getting migraines. (They are a family trait I wish I never got) One day my mom took me to The Body Shop and we bought a cooling face mask just to try…. It worked wonders! Fast forward twelve years (Yes twelve!), my beloved mask has started to lose its magic. A lot of the blue gel inside has dissipated.
Well, one night I was browsing The Body Shop website and what did I find?!? The same mask in PINK! (My favorite color btw) I could have cried, twelve years later and I find a new one? Crazy! But wait its only $4.80? With FREE SHIPPING? This must be a joke… NOPE!
This mask is a life saver, it helps with a number of things:
-Hot days to cool off
It stays pretty cool on its own but you can place it in the freezer for a bit to get cold. It has a strap with velcro. I’m just in love with this mask honestly, there are so many good things I could say about it. I mean you have to love something to buy it twice.
